Day 01: Arrive Hanoi (B)

Arrive at Noi Bai airport in Hanoi, you will be met by your tour guide o­n the other side of Immigration/Baggage check. A brief orientation drive is given o­n the way to your hotel.

Enjoy a few hours of rest or explore the surroundings on your own

Day 02: Hanoi City Tour - Night Train to Sapa (B,L) - Join Group Tour

For the early risers, may we suggest a stroll along the picturesque Hoan Kiem Lake where each morning around 6am, groups of locals gather to do their exercises along the lovely tree lined promenade. You may cross over the red bridge at the north end to Ngoc Son Temple and the Tortoise Tower which are o­n a small island.

After breakfast, you will have a full day to see the city so good walking shoes are a must. The visit includes:

  • Temple of Literature, built in 11th Century and the country's first University
  • Ho Chi Minh's (HCM) Mausoleum and Presidential Palace
  • HCM's Stilt House
  • O­ne Pillar Pagoda
  • Ethnology Museum
  • Opera House
  • Hoa Lo prison which is also known as the "Hanoi Hilton"
  • West Lake & Pagoda

Take a Cyclo ride through the Old Town before attending a Water Puppet Show this evening and have a leisure dinner on your own while waiting for the night train departing at around 9.15pm to Lao Cai. Overnight o­n the train in an air conditioned sharing 4 soft berths cabin.

Note: If you wish to have a private cabin for 2 people, please add additional 60 US$/person for the round trip.

Day 03: Sapa Discovery (B) - Join Group Tour

The train will arrive around 6:00AM at Lao Cai station, near the border of China, and you will be met by your local guide & driver for the 38 mile drive to Sapa, the premier destination of northwest Vietnam.

Enjoy your breakfast while waiting for hotel check-in, catch a few hours of rest or venture out to discover the charming town and ethic minority groups of Sapa.

Then take a guided trip to discover the nature as well as different culture of hill tribal people. Up and down hill from village to villages around Lao Chai and Ta Van area which is decorated by terraced-fields and the house of H'mong, Red Zao and Zay people.

Great opportunity for taking photos of breathtaking landscapes, meeting friendly hill-tribe people at home and work...and get to understand their tradition and customs.

Enjoy the lunch prepared by the guide in a local family.

Late afternoon, return to Sapa by private car/jeep. Overnight in Sapa.

Meals: Breakfast & Lunch (we will include breakfast at the hotel this morning to make it easier).

Day 04: Sapa Discovery - Night train back to Hanoi (B) - Join Group Tour

Today you will begin with a walking tour of Sapa market, then down the valley to the nearest picturesque village of Cat Cat.

You need to be back to the hotel for the noon time check - out. Leave your luggage with the porter until time to depart for Lao Cai for the night train back to Hanoi.

Afternoon, explore the surrounding o­n your own or take an excursion to the Silver Waterfall or "Thac Bac", a little further beyond the waterfall is the beautiful mountain range known as "Heaven's Gate."

We will include a room at a guest house or mini hotel in late afternoon in Laocai town for your to have a shower or refreshment and you will have time for your own dinner before getting on the night train back to Hanoi. Overnight o­n train in an air conditioned cabin.

Day 05: Hanoi - Discover Halong Bay on an overnight Junk (B,L,D) - Join Group Tour

You will be met by your guide early this morning at Hanoi's railway station. After breakfast, we depart for Halong Bay - the World Heritage Site on a comfortable drive in 3 & a half hours passing the countryside of the Red River delta. There will be a stop on the way to relax or have a cup of coffee.

  • 12h00: Arrive to Halong city, boarding the traditional junk for departure
  • 12h45: Start cruise
  • 13h00: Lunch is served with welcome wine
  • 13h30: A Breath-Taking cruise in Ha Long bay. Great photo opportunities of shaped islands like Dog island, Incense Burner Island, Fighting Cock Island and so on. Visiting Sung Sot cave and have a swim at Titop beach. Enjoy sunset Dinner is served on board.
  • Relax, drinking or fishing at your pleasure before spending a night on board.

Day 06: Halong - Hanoi - Flight to Danang - Hoian (B) - Join Group Tour

  • 7h00: Breakfast is served
  • 7h30: A morning cruise toward islets of Man's head, Tortoise and visit Luon cave by a small bamboo row boat. Cruising through Bai Tu Long bay and heading back to Ha Long pier.
  • 09h45: Check out
  • 10h00: Enjoy brunch on board
  • 12h00: Arrive at Ha Long pier and transfer to Noi Bai Airport - Hanoi within 5 hours and take flight to next destination: Danang - Hoian O/N in Hoian

Day 07: Hoian City Tours (B)

After breakfast, you will have a guided tour to see the interesting sights of this ancient city. Some hundreds years ago, this town thrived o­n trading with the Chinese, Japanese and Spanish. You will visit a historical Old House, Japanese Covered Bridge, Old Temple and Silk Factory.

after Lunch, you will visit Cham Sculpture museum, China beach and Marble Mountain in Danang before continue the drive to Hoian.

Day 08: Hoi An - Hue (B)

Upon leaving Hoi An we make our way northwards to Hue. The winding roads begin as we make our way up the spectacular Hai Van Pass. Here we make stop to admire the stunning view north to Lang Co village and south to Danang City.

Hue is the former capital city of Vietnam in the 17th & 18th century. Hue has been recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

After few hours to refreshment, there will be a short drive to the Imperial City for a visit to the Royal Palace and beautiful Royal Buildings.

After lunch, you will embark o­n a drive to the countryside, through scenic villages and green rice fields to reach the Emperor Ming Mang's tomb. It is o­ne of the most beautiful of all Emperors tombs, in a complex of pavilions, temple, courtyards and lakes.

Overnight in Hue.

Day 09: Hue - Flight To Ho Chi Minh, City Tours (B)

The south bound journey continues with a short flight to Ho Chi Minh, Although Ho Chi Minh (formerly Saigon) is a big and chaotic metropolis. On arrival you are met by our guide and transferred to hotel. An afternoon will acquaints us with some major sights of Ho Chi Minh. We drive past many lively streets on our way to the Reunification Palace. This mansion was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975. Close to the palace are some striking French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Sai Gon Post Office. We follow these with a visit to the Jade Emperor Pagoda and the War remnant exhibit. The final stop is Ben Thanh Market where anything and everything is for sale!.

O/N in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 10: Ho Chi Minh - Mekong - CanTho (B) - Join Group Tour

After breakfast in the hotel, we depart for Caibe in the Mekong delta passing the lush countryside. Upon arrival at Caibe, embark a private boat to cruise around Caibe Floating Market to see local people selling, buying, exchanging goods from their boats. Visit local garden and house to see orchard, rice crisped producing process... After lunch at a local family taking a cruise along river to see peaceful tranquil life of villagers, admire marvelous natural setting of Mekong Delta region. About 3 pm, the boat will arrive at Vinh Long, walking around to explore Vinh Long Market.

Then transfer to Can Tho City, the heart of Mekong delta for overnight.

Day 11: Can Tho - Cai Rang Floating Market - Chau Doc (B) - Join Group Tour

Leave the hotel in early morning to catch the famous CaiRang Floating Market in its busiest time. Cruising along the small and picturesque tributaries by boat, we will see market (the nicest one with heaps of rowing boats). Take in the beautiful scenery and the daily activities of the locals who lives along the Mekong canals and you will roam through the village to visit a rice-husking mill and a rice noodles making shop. Then continue traveling to ChauDoc, the border with Cambodia. Check in hotel on arrival. Late afternoon, visit the Sam Mountain to enjoy the breath-taking view on the Vietnamese-Cambodian border with flat rice fields and nice canals, visit caved pagoda.

Overnight in ChauDoc.

Day 12: ChauDoc - Phnom Penh by boat, City Tour (B)

After breakfast, get on speed boat to Phnom Penh which will take around 5 hours, going back one of the arms of the Mekong. Arrival and have your own lunch.

In the afternoon, visits of the city, in particular of the National Museum, rich art of Khmer, of the Silver Pagoda, inserted in the fencing of the Royal Palace, Preahkeo Morokot and Central Market.

Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 13: PhnomPenh - Fly to SiemReap, Discover Angkor Wat (B)

Depart Phnom Penh to Siem Reap on a 40 minute flight in the morning.

We will discover the Angkor complex, luminous understood them of the gr

We visit Banteay Srey (40km from Siem Reap town), means "citadel of the women". But is appellation refers to the delicate beauty of the caving. Day 14: SiemReap - Angkor Wat Discovery (B)

Breakfast at hotel, then visit the Angkor Thom: South Gate, Bayon, Baphoun, Terrace of Elephants, Terrace of Leper King and Phimean Akas temple. Hav your own lunch at local restaurant.

In the afternoon, continue to visit famous temple of Angkor Wat with enjoying sunset from top of Bakheng Hill. Dinner at local restaurant with Apsaras show

Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 15: Siem Reap - Fly to Vientiane, City Tour (B)

After breakfast, the driver will take you to the airport for the morning flight to Vientiane.

On arrival at the airport in Vientiane, you are met and transferred to our centrally located hotel. After a short rest, we start to visit the major sights of the capital; including the oldest Wat Sisaket with thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat PraKeo previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. On the way to the famous and sacred structure of That Luang stupa, we stop to take some pictures of the imposing Patouxai which is well known as Vientiane's own Arc de Triomphe.

Day 16: Vientiane - Flight to Luang Prabang, City Tour (B)

The royal capital of the former Lane Xang Kingdom, Luang Prabang with its gleaming temple roofs, fading colonial architecture and stunning mountain backdrop, retains an unique charm rarely found in all Asia. Today we take a short flight over the mountainous region to Luang Prabang. There are plenty to see in this delightful town, some of which are the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun, the Srilankalese styled temple of That Marko, the shrine of Wat Aham and the five tiered roof Wat Mai. We visit these sites in a half day guided tour and embark on a climb up to Phousi Hill for a beautiful panorama view from the town center and the mighty Mekong River. There are 329 steps leading us on zigzag way past various temples to the sacred, gilded stupa of Wat Phousi at the summit.

Overnight in LuangPrabang.

Day 17: Luang Prabang - Pak Ou Cave (B)

Today we continue seeing this charming town with the famous Wat Xieng Thong, which nestles at the meeting of the Mekong and the Nam Khan River. The temple structures are decorated in various ways with gilded stuccoes ,doorways and marvellous tree life mosaic pattern on an outer wall, representing the ancient temple architecture of Luang Prabang. We board a boat for a leisurely trip on the Mekong River, stopping en route at Ban Xang Hai to visit the distillation of potent local rice wine. Upon leaving this riverside village we wave our way through the stunning mountain landscape to the mysterious Pak Ou Caves. They are crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes, all brought there by devout villagers. We explore these famous grottos and cruise back to Luang Prabang Town. On arrival we catch a short drive to Ban Phanom , a well known weaving village of the Tai Lue people who used to make royal silk weaving textiles for the Lao former royal family.

Overnight in LuangPrabang.

Day 18: Luang Prabang - Depart (B)

The exploration of Luang Prabang Town for last sovereign. We spend our time to see this museum and enjoy a walk around the nearby old quarter streets or simply relax at riverside bar. The trip ends after your transfer to Luang Prabang Airport for departure.
